Dilek Peninsula National Park is located in Guzelcamli, which is a pretty small tawn, 23km South of Kusadasi.It is definitely a top visit during your stay in Kusadasi if you are one of those nature and wildlife adorers. Dilek Peninsula, covering an area of approximately 11.000 hectares, was made into a national park ‘Dilek Peninsula Milli Parki’ in 1966. In 1994, 166.90 square kilometres part of the delta of the River Büyük Menderes was added to the park.
Due to its geological structure, it allows various species of plants growing naturally which makes the peninsula a paradise for botanic reserches. Dark pine , pitch pine, black cypress, Judas tree, Finike juniper, daphne, sandalwood, olive, oak, maple, linden, chestnut, plane, oleander, tree of heaven, honeysuckle, poplar, fig, wild pear, black berry, carob, broom, ash-tree, jasmin, sour wild pear, pistachia, sumac, elm tree, heath, filix mas are some of the plants you can come across while hiking.
Among wild animals in the park, anatolian panther, jackal, wild cat, badger, marten, wolf,hedgehog, lynx, swine, lizard, fox,tortoise, rock eagle, sea eagle, falkon, hawk, sea gull, blackbird, partridge, rock dove, turtledove, wild cow, eilde horse, hare, otter, woodcock, kestrel, duck, Caspian sea swallow (sterna hirundo) are the most rare and precious species of the Mediterranean.
Sea turtle, shark, sinarit, ofroz, mediterranean morey, dolphin, seal, grey mullet, sea urchin, eel, gilt-head bream, horse mackerel, anchovy, sea bass, medirettanean goby, octopus, sea bream can be seen amon the species in the sea.
Unlike most of other tourism attractions, the park allows tourists a very wide range of alternative activities. You can go surfing, swimming, diving, fishing, wind surfing, sailboarding, canoeing, water-skiing or you can leave yourselves in cristal clear waters of Mediterranean after taking a relaxing walk in the woods.

There are facilities for the visiters such as showers, rest-rooms, changing-rooms, restaurants, tables and seats.
You can get there by dolmus(mini bus service) leaving from Kusadasi every half an hour. If you don’t want to wait for it you can rent a car.
